This standard rocker is currently listed on eBay starting at $9.99. Judging from the condition, I would guess it will go for $600 - I'll update if I see the final price. It is ebonized and gilded. It still has the original steel caning and is patent stamped. The post indicates that there is slight damage to the frame and one of the steel bands is broken.
UPDATE:
Christa said this chair sold for $127.75. It appears my future as a furniture appraiser is limited. I think I will keep my day job!

it looks like it's been repainted in the not too recent past.
This chair closed at $127.75.
I would definatly say it was a repaint.
